Blackberry Outage December 22

BlackBerry users struggle with email outage. Users of Research In Motion BlackBerry smart phones is struggling with an e-mail failure last night. Telephone calls and SMS services appeared to be functional, but users in North America not to send or receive e-mails. Would users tweeted their frustration over the social networking site Twitter.

Some said they could not even connect to the internet. Waterloo, Ontario-based Research In Motion Ltd. is not immediately return calls seek comment on.

It is the second time in less than one weeks that BlackBerry users in North America had to e-mail downtime on their BlackBerry devices to do. Research In Motion said Thursday that engineers had isolated the problem and resolved and were the cause. RIM has not said how many users are affected or how long before the revision.
